BANDAR Utama and Tropicana residents have been given a temporary reprieve as Jalan Tanjung will re-open and operate as a one-way traffic road for two weeks soon.

I AM a resident at one of the condominiums next to the SJK (C) Damansara and so, am directly affected by this road junction closure.

As has been stated and reported so many times, the opening of Jalan Tanjung was only a temporary solution. The road, as Bandar Utama City Corporation (BUCC) rightly says, was already badly congested before they closed it.

PROTESTS by residents over the impending closure of Jalan Tanjung Bandar Utama, a private road belonging to Bandar Utama City Corporation (BUCC) are unnecessary, according to BUCC.

Its general affairs manager Paul Fernandez said the move to close the road had been endorsed by Petaling
Jaya City Council, as well as by State assembly man Elizabeth Wong.
