KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court today fixed April 20 for decision on the suit by four students challenging the the Federal Government's implementation of teaching and learning of Science and Mathematics in English (PPSMI) in 2003.

Counsel Mohamed Hanipa Mydin who represented the four, including the son of Datuk Seri Mohammad Nizar Jamaluddin, said judge Datuk Mohamed Apandi Ali postponed decision as more documents were needed.

 

HE'S known for his creative  works in literature and has contributed immensely to the literary works of the country. But for the love of Bahasa Malaysia (BM), Malaysia's national laureate  Datuk A. Samad Said (pic) fought hard against the teaching of mathematics and science in English.

 

Samad talked to Malay Mail on what he thought of the government's move to revert to teaching the two subjects in BM again.
