Strangely, the man, who was better known as Mat Top, continues to haunt the mind -- more than two months after his bloody end.

NEW DELHI:  In a major crackdown across the globe, Interpol has uncovered 751 websites engaged in illegal online pharmacies selling dangerous and illegal drugs.

Mounting 'Operation Pangea II', the international anti-crime agency stemmed the mushrooming of internet-based illegal pharmacy operators worldwide.

Singapore and Thailand were two Southeast Asian countries involved in the global operation which ended last week, with 22 suspects currently under the Interpol scanner.

LOCAL police have not received any official request from Indian police on Malaysians wanted in connection with recent criminal cases in the South Asian country.

Malay Mail was informed that despite the cases being highlighted by the Indian and Malaysian media, police have yet to be officially notified of the cases — mostly relating to credit card fraud and money laundering.

Sources told Malay Mail that without an official request from the Indian police, Malaysian police are unable to assist in investigations.

JAKARTA Interpol has asked its French counterparts to initiate the extradition of Daisy Fajarina, the Indonesian mother-in law of the Tengku Temenggong Kelantan, through diplomatic channels.
