SEPANG: An actor was among those arrested in Chinese New Year operation near the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) here tonight.

The actor who had featured in the spook drama 'Anak Pontianak' was detained after allegedly admitting to consuming the drug ketamine when directed to undergo a urine test.

The person was detained along with his friend following a raid by by the Selangor National Anti-Durgs Agency (AADK) and Negri Sembilan Road Transport Department.

A premature baby boy was delivered on board an AirAsia flight last night, 30 minutes after the aircraft left Bayan Lepas Airport in Penang.

The flight AK5606 was on its way to Kuching but had to reroute to the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) in Sepang when a pregnant passenger told crew members she was in labour pains.

Liew Siaw Hsia, 31, gave birth through the normal delivery to a premature but healthy boy, who became the first born in an AirAsia aircraft.

BUDGET airline passengers now have a faster way to travel to the Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT), via KLIA Transit.

 

Express Rail Link Sdn Bhd (ERL) has launched a new service aimed to meet the needs of the ever-increasing number of travellers departing to and arriving at LCCT.

THE Road Transport Department's plan of flying officers into the KL  International Airport (KLIA) and the Low-Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) posing as visitors to catch touts is paying dividends.

It's director-general Datuk Solah Mat Hassan described the tout-nabbing exercise as "a success worth celebrating".
