PETALING JAYA: The All Petaling Jaya Residents Association Coalition (APAC) is calling on the city council
to review the privatised parking in the township, owing to the drop in revenue in the last five years.

“The council used to collect some RM15 million yearly. This has dropped to RM7 million since it was privatised five years ago,” said APAC advisor, Mohd Umar Peer Mohd.

“That is why we want MBPJ to review the parking operating business and urge the local authority to manage it themselves instead.”
