THE fake taxi driver who allegedly went on a vicious rape-robbing spree in Klang Valley early this year is expected to be charged in court today.

 

It is learnt the 31-year-old, who pretended to be a taxi driver to snare his victims, will be charged under Section 376 of the Penal Code for rape after a much awaited DNA report was completed recently.

POLICE have made an arrest in the daring Scorpion-tattooed 'taxi-river' rapist case. The suspect, a 27-year-old married man, was picked up by Subang Jaya police yesterday at his home near Persiaran Kewajipan in Subang Jaya about 1pm.

A SERIAL rapist “taxi driver”, believed to have gone on a vicious rape-robbery spree in the Klang Valley, will soon be charged. Police sources said that there was a positive match in a DNA report from one of his rape victims.

“We will charge this man at the Shah Alam courts soon,” Kuala Lumpur CID chief SAC II Datuk Ku Chin Wah said, adding that police believe he committed three similar cases in Selangor.

POLICE are looking through their files in their bid to nab a violent cabbie rapist with a scorpion tattoo on his shoulder before he strikes again. Sources told Malay Mail that the rapist, who resorted to beating up a 17-year-old and ripping her clothes off before raping her in a cab in broad daylight on Thursday, has become “a priority case”.
