TENAGA Nasional Bhd (TNB) continues to supply electricity  to its customers despite a blaze at its Sultan Salahudin Abdul Aziz power plant in Kapar early yesterday.

In a statement, TNB said that its current high reserve margin was able to meet demand and the power supply from its entire system and network remained intact.

It said the blaze, which broke out at 6.45am, was confined to a conveyor belt delivering coal to two units of 500 Megawatt (MW) generators. The generators were not affected, it added.
