Determined suicider removes door handles

RETRIEVED: Fire department personnel extracting the body from the Iswara at Puchong Perdana yesterday
Such is the speculation of witnesses after seeing the door handles, body powder and a RM5 note among the items which were next to the pool where a man was believed to have committed suicide on Sunday night.
In the incident, a man who is believed to be in his 20s or 30s, was said to have driven his Proton Iswara into the mining pool in Puchong Perdana.
A man who lives nearby, identified only as Amir, 46, said his neighbour had told him about the car parked there that night.
“When we went out to see the car, it was already sinking in the lake,” he said.
He later found the items, which he believes belonged to the driver, before lodging a police report. Yesterday at 4.15pm, police, municipal council and fire department personnel lifted the car out of the pool, with the man’s body still inside.
At Press time, the man was still unidentified.
