The BUCC people has submitted 10,000 signature as petition to close the road to MBPJ. But can the peition be valid with the signature from non BU residents? It seems they set up abooth in 1-Utama and have just get signature from 1-Utama customer , whoever they are. If it comes to that. then it is just a numbers game, how could these signature be accepted for petition?

Just received the 1 Utama magazine, BUCC is going to the extend that advertise its "This Is It' article on Jalan Tanjung behind the cover letter!! To me this is a really bad taste! However, this magazine has served as a reminder to me that my daily suffer due to the road closure is due to BUCC who owned 1 Utama. How can I and other Tropicana residents still spend money in 1 Utama?

Two weeks are going to end! So what is the next action? Hope Menteri Besar can come up the solution quickly. Also noticed that BUCC has armed guard stationing at the barricade in front of 1Tech building! Are they going to shoot the innocent road users after the two weeks for trespassing?

The selfish act by BUCC has successfully created the conflict and hate/angry emotion among the 2 groups of residents! At the end, it will destroy the once peaceful neighbourhood. I wonder what is the agenda behind all this?

Ai-yo, BU people really think your developer owns the whole Jalan Tanjugn ah? Look at the map, your developer only owns the small 800 sq. meter patch from the traffic light, not even the road just outside 1Tech Park. In fact don't even has the right to block the road in front of 1 Tech Park.

To me it's simple, any road closure is an selfish act without considering the existing users.

Submitted by Anonymous on Thursday, November 26th, 2009.
It simple. Dear 11,000 residents who are affected. Please show your protest of the road closure by making sure you drive through BU during peak hours when exiting the area. BU 12 and 11 people support the reopening of the road. Its the other part of BU which have become greedy. So you know where to drive and which roads to use as a sign of protest. Also please thank BUCC for creating the bitter rivalry among residents in the area. Not wise as well, as all BURA residents cars have nice BURA stickers to identify themselves and make them targets. Folks around the area used to live in greater harmony and now the worse is coming out of everyone.

Yes who created this mess? The former authorities for a long time...in approving all the development at Kota Damansara without taking into consideration the traffic impact. Yes its a matter of dollars and sense, yes Bandar Utama owes social responsiblity...to the people who bought the houses from them.... the bridge and access was built for bandar utama residents..what did the other developers contribute i wonder...? Anyway if ..anyone not happy, they can boycott bandar utama projects dun buy and also dun go to 1 utama.....its a free world man...hidup 1 Malaysia 1 Utama...yay....

A sad and black history for residents in BU and Tropicana! Someone with hidden agenda has successfullu turned the residents against each others.

I hope it is a free world! Unfortunately this is a rich man world! Rich and selfish Developer can just close the road without consider the interest of thousand of residents and students! Just to make money from it! Don't be naive that BUCC did this for the BU residents!

Submitted by Anonymous on Saturday, November 21st, 2009.
Some people still very naive and think that BUCC is fighting for BU residents! Shifting the traffic to BU 11 & 12, stop the kids from going to school, make the life difficult for thousands of people. All they want is to charge higher rental for their commercial building! You still want to protect this unethical and selfish developer!

Some of you are saying BUCC is selfish but you are also the same for wanting the road to be open for your part of the area. No matter how we say it, it is still BUCC's land. Still remember BUCC paying RM1mil in protest, just to open their part of the road into Persiaran Surian although the connection in planned decades ago? And remember that some of you guys are also blocking the linking of Ara Damansara roads into Tropicana. Who is selfish then? It is in human nature ... Remember, give and take. Not take, take, TAKE!

Don't forget those stay in BU11 and 12 who suffered due to the road closure!

Ai-yo, how can residents at BU think that the closure of this road is going to solve whatever traffic congestion problem they r having now? Right now, residents in Tropicana do not need to go through BU, just travel in and out through Jalan Tanjung. Closed the road now, and we have to go through Persiaran Bukit Utama to go home, and go through BU 11/12 when we go out. So, where is the logic? Do you think BUCC is routing traffic away from BU or routing traffic into BU? Please think.

Dijaya has no proper planning. BUCC not wrong. 14 years ago, Dijaya was given warning. Pay for it, Diajaya!

Submitted by Anonymous on Thursday, November 19th, 2009.
People like you and me together with 2,000+ kids of 7 to 12 years old are paying for it! BUCC can go and talk to Dijaya or whoever you want, but don't sacrifice innocent people for your own interest. Whatever you do people will remember for long long time! Please open back the road before losing all your reputation!

You can be sure 11.000 voters will remember how this issue is resolved.

Hey there, its the BUCC who are the selfish ones. All parties should unite and bring your rubbish and chuck it in Bandar Utama. That will teach you guys when the crows start sitting on all your fences.

First they close the road leading from BU4 to Curve and Ikano. Now they close the road to the new complex Giza. If anyone thinks this is about BUCC claiming their land after 12 years he is being naive. It's all about the money folks, it always has been about the money. They have money, they have power. So what if the wage earner, the hassled parent, the little guy is inconvenienced? You are nothing to them. That's BUCC for you, an exemplar of Corporate Social Responsibility.

First they close the road leading from BU4 to Curve and Ikano. BUCC didn't close this road, Mutiara Damansara developer stop BUCC from opening this road. MBPJ can't do anything as Mutiara Damansara developer haven't hand over this road Persiaran Surin to them.

Submitted by Anonymous on Friday, November 20th, 2009.
Actually, what I hear is the opposite. BUCC is the one that closed the road because Boustead (Mutiara Damansara developers) has some outstanding issues with BUCC. So what BUCC's solution was to blocked traffic from BU *TO* Ikano & The Curve and only allow traffic *FROM* Mutiara into BU, thus preventing people from getting to Mutiara, but allowing them to still go to 1U. Think about it, why would Boustead want to block the entrance *FROM* BU to their shopping centers? It is not in their interest to do so. However, it is in BUCC's interest to make it more difficult for people to go to Mutiara from BU so that they will be channeled to 1U instead. It is not a secret that 1Utama's crowd has been affected by the opening of the Mutiara Damansara shopping complexes.

This really sound like BUCC's behaviour. Close road only for their own interest without considering public interest! They have repeated the same act again and again!

Submitted by Anonymous on Friday, November 27th, 2009.
Can't compare the road from BU 4 to Curve with Jalan Tanjung Utama! A road that aleady opened for >10 years, a road that used by thoustand residents and students daily! You might have the legal rights but don't mean that you don't have the social responsibilities!

Bandar Utama residence unite!.. Let this selfish people and developers understand.. Its our road and we want it close. Close close close...!!! They are trying to make use of bucc and us, because they think their property value will go down. Instead becasue of this road our property will be affected to.. Vote for closure .. support our local government for closure...

BU ppl like that one ah? OK , when I go to One U, if I see any car with a BU or BURA sticker ..I'll know...

You think BUCC is concern about BU residents! By closing Jalan Tanjung Utama, they are actually shifting the traffic jam to BU11 and BU12. Their selfish motive is to rent out their comerciluilding (formely known as Sony) at a good price in the expense of thousand of residents and students. Please join up to fight for our rights and expose the ugly face of thi developer.

nobody is an island. when Kota Damansara is congested, it well affect LDP and bandar utama cannot be escape too. you only think that residents from kota damansara and tropicana make use of the road, but you never think that one day you may need to use the road when emergency? now the traffice go into Jalan Bukit Utama, it will became congested one day, sooner or later. that doesn't affect you? time will tell.

What type of developer is this. We should all boycot developers like that who are not concern about the people and only think of how to make more and more money. They are all to be partly to be blame for all the bad plannings and infrastructure.
