it was a great moment for a great team who has worked together with Coach Darma for the past 2 years and later guided to the tournament by Coach Rajan. The tournament started slow for the KL boys losing 2-0 to NS and later drew 1-1 with Selangor. In a do or die preliminary round with Terengganu, the boys showed what it takes in being a champion when they trash Terengganu 7-1 and later Malaca 2-0 with the game suspended due to the rain. In the semi final the boys played hard and well winning against Penang 2-1. In the final the KL revenged last year 2008 final's defeat 3-2 with a sudden death goals by Athishah. Overall this team showed what it means to be a TEAM, the real friendship that goes behind the training, friendly matches and tournaments. The closeness between the players goes beyond just being friends but they were educated to being brothers in a big family. There are no individual star because they are all STARS. Congratulation to the U14 KL Boys, all of you have worked hard for the victory. Alhamdullilah to the Al-Mighty, for this long awaited VICTORY. Waiting for next year fight...
