KUALA LUMPUR: Crest Worlwide Resources Sdn Bhd (CWR) and Asian Finance Bank Berhad (AFB) signed a partnership agreement this morning where AFB becomes the gobal marketing representative for Crest Worldwide, promoting the prestigious property — Crest Jalan Sultan Ismail.

The project, with a Gross Development Value of RM500 million, adds another pair of towers to the Kuala Lumpur skyline, although of different heights. The residential tower of 44 storeys stands 18 floors taller than the 26-storey office tower.

SKN Land & Development group chairman Mohd Rosly Hussein said the collaboration with AFB will be beneficial for the company as gobal marketing representatives. AFB will promote the Crest Jalan Sultan Ismail property through the bank's global network of branches and corporate offices.

Crest Jalan Sultan Ismail is the only mixed development of office and residential units in the KLCC area. No other such project exists within walking distance to KLCC, making the complex a unique and last opportunity
for those requiring space in the city centre.

Crest Jalan Sultan Ismail Head of Sales and Marketing, Joy Nandy, said the SKN Land project gains exposure in these areas with AFB as their representative.

He added that AFB is also an end financier.

“Seventy per cent of Crest is already sold to elite profile buyers. Consumers have such confidence. The recent advertising campaign in the media has seen a very positive response. This is the only such offer in KLCC,” he said.

AFB CEO Datuk Mohamed Azahari Kamil said the MoU is the result of the cooperation between the two groups for some time. He added AFB's network extends to the Middle East and Malaysia and is projecting expansion to Indonesia, Brunei, Sarawak and South Korea.

The last 92 residential reserved units have just been released for sale, with financing particularly attractive to Malaysians and foreigners living in Malaysia. Projected completion of Crest Jalan Sultan Ismail is 2011.

This SKN Land project focuses on selective and strategic property investment and value creation. Crest Jalan Sultan Ismail is developed by Crest Worldwide Resources Sdn Bhd, a member company of SKN Land and Development Sdn Bhd.
