KUALA LUMPUR: Tutti Frutti a popular premium soft-serve frozen yoghurt from America signed its first licensee this afternoon.

With a five-year tenure, the licence agreement between Tutti Frutti Trading Sdn Bhd and Platinum Deli Enterprise involves an initial investment of RM265,000.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, general manager for Tutti Frutti in Malaysia, Zain Azrai Azhar Simin, said as the master licensee, the company has embarked on an extensive branding and marketing campaign to get more licensees.

"Next year, the Tutti Frutti brand is set to grow and we expect to have 25 outlets by the end of year. "We welcome interested entrepreneurs to join the Tutti Frutti family and share the potential of this new novel brand.”

Platinum Deli Enterprise’s Tutti Frutti outlet will be located in Berjaya Times Square here and is expected to open for business on Christmas Day as the sixth Tutti Frutti outlet.

Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt offers up to 18 flavours and a 36-topping spread. The store works on the self-service, personalised yogurt concept, paid by the weight.

Since signing on as a master licensee in July, Naza Tutti Frutti (M) Sdn Bhd has opened five Tutti Frutti outlets
in the Klang Valley with premises in Sunway Pyramid, IOI Mall, Capital Square, Bangsar Shopping Centre and Taman Tun Dr Ismail.

Naza Tutti Frutti is the master franchise-holder for Tutti Frutti in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and India. As part of its expansion strategy, Tutti Frutti has a sub-licensing programme that offers entrepreneurs an opportunity to be part of the business.
