Astronaut Sheikh Muszaphar to wed on 10.10.10

KUALA LUMPUR: 101010 may be binary digits but for astronaut Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor Al-Masrie, they have more to do with bells ... wedding bells, that is!

In fact, it is to be his wedding day. Yes, he is getting married on Oct 10, 2010.

"God willing, if everything goes well, I will get married on Oct 10, 2010," he told reporters after delivering a motivation talk to students who had sat for the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) at a programme organised by a college, here.

The wedding will be held at the Allson Kelana Hotel in Seremban.

Dr Sheikh Muszaphar had announced to the media recently that his wedding to Dr Halina Yusof, an anaesthetist at Selayang Hospital, would take place on Jan 1 next year.
