Join a worldwide musical affair

Be at the Dewan Filharmonik Petronas on Jan 9 at 8.30pm for one of the most anticipated events — the annual Vienna Orchestra — a grand gathering that is broadcast around the world.

Conductor Günter Neuhold will lead the orchestra in a sparkling programme, featuring a repertoire of the Johann Strauss family and their contemporaries with new blood injected. Tickets are priced at RM25, RM55, RM75, and RM95.

T-REX still rocking it hard for 2010

For those who can't get enough from New Year's Eve parties, Indonesia's premier club band T-REX is still rocking Hard Rock Café Kuala Lumpur all the way to theend of the month.

 

The band's repertoire consists of songs from the 70s, 80s, 90s and current Top 40s. The group is well known for their ability to deliver songs in their own unique style, incredible stage presence, enthusiasm and their capability to rock the house!

Comprising three-lead vocalists Rudiyanto, Rahmat Wijaya and Pradnyawati, guitarist Albilanzadila, drummer Amal, keyboardist Prabudita and bassist Guniawan, they have already made waves in club scenes and have attained a faithful following of fans.

Black on Black is a contemporary dance showcase about the Malaysian Indians.

Talented young dancer/choreographer Lex Balakrishnan brings to us his thoughts and observations of the Malaysian Indian community.

He sheds light on the different aspects of the everyday Malaysian Indian and the things that have brought them to their current predicament through intelligent moves and heartfelt expressions.

He will be presenting six beautiful pieces in this upcoming showcase.

The show will be held at KLPac Pentas 2 on Jan 7 and 8 at 8.30pm. A minimum donation of RM10 will be required for the show.
