Citibank's latest credit card promotion
KUALA LUMPUR: Citibank, the leader in the local credit card usage market segment, expects to retain its market leadership position in 2010 by introducing more compelling promotions and privileges that reward and deliver value to its customers.
Citibank currently holds more than 20 per cent of the credit card usage market, and over one million customers.
This morning Citibank launched its latest credit card promotion "My Passion, My Reward", with grand prizes
worth up to RM500,000 and guaranteed reward points.
The contest was designed to ensure every participating customer obtains guaranteed rewards and a chance of achieving their passion and dreams in four categories — dining, travel, fashion and home furnishing.
Citibank's head of consumer markets, Fabio Fontainha said, in 2010, they will focus on sharing with their customers' experiences which they truly deserve.
"The four passions or categories we are offering our customers are important facets of their lifestyle as they
account for more than 40 per cent of total spent," he said.
Fontainha added that with Citibank's new campaigns they aim to retain their position and to maintain their market share.
The contest will be held from today to April 30 and this contest is unique in that customers need only spend RM50 and above on a single receipt to participate and be eligible to choose one of four passion they wish to experience.
The more they spend the more entries they will garner to stand a chance to win the chosen passion.
To participate in the promotion, credit card and debit cardholders need to send an SMS to register one of the
four passions or register online at www.citibank.com.my.
Upon registration, each RM50 spent and above on a single receipt entitles credit card and debit cardholders to
one entry.
Fontainha said Citibank expects 100,000 customers to participate in this campaign.
