A TRILOGY NOT TO BE MISSED: For the first time ever, the three 'CSI' editions will all be connected

Which woman can resist men who are smart, sexy and masculine? With the additional heroic ability of snaring bad guys with wit, intelligence and oozing machismo, the answer would be: none.

Whether it's the tall, dark and handsome Dr Ray Langston (played by Laurence Fishburne), the cool city hunk Mac Taylor (Gary Sinise) or the freckled redhead hero Horatio Caine (David Caruso), the guys can melt any heart (especially if you're into mature role models).

Granted, the awe for the guys are not so much for their looks or fashion sense, but for the sheer charisma each character brings to their respective precincts. Simply irresistible.

Tomorrow, hearts will melt not just once, but three times in a row as our CSI stars lead up the original CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in Las Vegas (currently on its tenth season), CSI: Miami (now on season seven) and CSI: New York (at season six) in the first time ever CSI trilogy, available only on AXN (Astro 701).

Over 10 years in the making, hit procedural drama CSI: Crime Scene Investigation will have a must-see crossover trilogy that spans all three shows of the global hit TV franchise. The highly anticipated television event can be viewed seamlessly in a three-hour marathon.

For the first time in the history of CSI, a character will travel through all three precincts to solve a case. While staying true to each show's character in the franchise, a common dramatic arc ties all three shows together, beginning in Miami, developing in New York, and only gets solved in Las Vegas.

The trilogy starts in CSI: Miami with "Bone Voyage". A severed limb found in the Florida Everglades leads Caine and his team to the Nevada dessert. Discovering that the limb belongs to a girl gone missing in the Las Vegas precinct, Langston who is on the hunt for the killer, is called in to help.

CSI
From Florida, the investigation progresses upstate through CSI: NY's "Hammer Down," in which Langston travels to New York after Taylor identifies a woman found dead with her blood drained in a truck as someone Langston interviewed in Miami is revealed as a person of interest.

To their disgust and horror, they find themselves waist-deep in a dangerous, organised criminal ring that dabbles with prostitution, surrogacy, human trafficking, as well as black market organs.

The trilogy concludes in Las Vegas with the CSI: Crime Scene Investigation episode "The Lost Girls."

Langston, desperate to find another missing girl tied to the same criminal and prostitution ring, digs deeper into the trafficking organisation that operates out of his precinct.

Betraying his tough exterior, Langston makes a desperate bid to save the victim before it's really too late.

Creating the trilogy was no simple feat, but CSI: NY executive producer Pam Veasey welcomed the challenge: "What you fundamentally do is tell a CSI story, which is what we all have in common," she said.

"You will see each of the shows take a different approach to a story that starts in Miami. Obviously, Ray Langston travels through all of the shows [so] you have to find the consistencies with his character, how he would flow into each story."

The leading men of CSI have been key cornerstones in each of their shows. Regardless whether you're a devoted fan of the Las Vegas, New York, or Miami editions, you can expect to see a different side of Langston, Caine and Taylor when they meet.

It becomes evident that these three formidable minds wrapped in a tough masculine exterior have little to rely on except themselves and their teammates.

It is also a must-see treat to witness the trio combine their expertise to solve a case in this three-episode, three-show ground-breaker.

So make a date with the three men as the CSI Trilogy will premiere on tomorrow from 9pm - 12 midnight, first and exclusively on AXN (Astro 701).

Horatio
More on Horatio Caine to be revealed this August!

Can't get enough of the redhead? Well, here's good news for you. CSI: Miami Season 8 will premiere on Aug 4 (Wednesday) at 10pm on AXN (Astro 701).

After seven seasons and more than 160 episodes of gripping drama, CSI: Miami's show creators will finally do the great reveal on how it all began, in 1997, the year the CSIs will be transported back to the time when they first began working together.

Season 8's premiere will also answer a question fans are dying to know - how did Horatio get his infamous sunglasses?

Not just that, regressing 12 years in time also means that the cast has to appear 12 years younger, and the magic is brought to you by the talented special effects makeup team that took Brad Pitt in Benjamin Button through time.

The time warp in the season opener also reunites the CSI: Miami team with familiar favourites including Alexx Woods (Khandi Alexander), Tim Speedle (Rory Cochrane) and Lt. Megan Donner (Kim Delaney).

Trace the journey of Horatio and his team on AXN this August, back to the roots of every hero's beginning!
