To London with love

Singer Katy Perry loves the UK capital - where boyfriend Russell Brand lived before heading to the US to be with her - because it is such an exciting city.

"I think I would probably go to London, and not just because of the fact I've got connections there, but because I like the constant evolution of the style and everything is so new," she said.

"Sometimes I think I'd like to live in Japan but I don't know how I would get on there because I don't speak Japanese, I'd probably end up singing in the street with a little hat saying, 'Please support me.' "

Although she is keen to become an Anglophile, she isn't sure if she could cope with the city's rainy weather.

In an interview on YouTube, the California Gurls singer - who is from Santa Barbara, California - said: "I'd probably eat my words if I was living in London because I can't stand the weather. I'm such a sunshine girl. If the sun comes out I come out, if the sun doesn't come out you won't see me. I'm a California girl!" She also lifted the lid on her wedding plans with Russell and revealed: "For my wedding I'm going to do what I call wedding nails which is basically traditional and pretty. Because you see those photos where you're holding each other's hands and I don't know if I'd like Oompa-Loompas on my nails while taking my photos. So I'm going to have wedding white nails."

Orlando's girl reportedly pregnant

Australian model Miranda Kerr (right) - who married long-term boyfriend Orlando Bloom in a secret ceremony earlier this month - is said to have told close friends that she is "thrilled" to be expecting her first child.

"She's definitely pregnant... Miranda's thrilled. She's telling all her friends, mostly other models, about it," a source said.

The Victoria's Secret model and her 33-yearold spouse are not planning to make an official announcement about their impending new arrival, but the 27-year-old beauty's pal insists it will be hard to conceal her news.

The source added to US Weekly magazine: "She poses in lingerie. It will be obvious soon enough."

Miranda - who is believed to be three months pregnant - has previously spoken about her desire to start a family with the Pirates of the Caribbean star, who she has been in a relationship with for three years.

"I have always been very open about wanting to be a mother one day. And I've always thought Orlando would be a great dad!" she said recently.

The couple have kept all details of their recent nuptials under wraps, but it is believed they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in the Caribbean.

Madonna flies with private chef to cook macrobiotic meals

ON a recent Virgin Atlantic flight from New York to London, 51-year-old superstar Madonna reportedly splashed out thousands on bringing her own chef with her and booked up an entire aisle in upper class for her entourage.

"The cabin crew were given a dossier on rules and requirements," a source on board the flight told the Daily Star newspaper.

"They weren't allowed to walk down her aisle or ask her any questions, they had to go through her assistants. It was ridiculous. She took over the whole plane."

Madonna is so obsessed with following the macrobiotic diet she regularly tries to convert others to the eating plan, including her boyfriend.

Brazilian model Jesus Luz, 23, adopted the diet - which is mainly comprised of vegetables and fish and doesn't allow you to consume any dairy, sugary treats or processed foods - last year to please his lover.

MJ's 'love child' wants a DNA test

Mocienne Petit Jackson has filed documents with the Los Angeles County Superior Court stating as she is the offspring of the late King of Pop, she should receive an inheritance cheque following his death in June 2009.

According to gossip website TMZ, she alleges she was conceived in 1975 when the Bad singer impregnated her mother Barbara - who she claims is the sister of soul singer Diana Ross - when he was just 17 years old.

However, Mocienne claims an elaborate coverup plot was then hatched by Michael's mother, Katherine Jackson, so the world would never know about the singer's indiscretion.

She claims when she was nine, Katherine decided to fake an "abduction" of her in the hope of protecting Michael's reputation.

According to Mocienne - who now lives in the Netherlands - all seven of her supposed abductors were then murdered after taking her to Belgium.

The legal documents state the woman claims she has now been diagnosed with Vitiligo - the same skin condition Michael suffered from - and has launched court action to "formally claim part of her father's inheritance".

The superstar's children - Prince Michael, 13, Paris, 12, and eight-year-old Prince Michael II - have been in the custody of Katherine since their father passed away, but Mocienne is seeking to claim legal guardianship of them to give the kids "a more normal life".

This is not the first love child mystery to have surfaced since the pop legend's death.

In 2009, 25-year-old Norwegian dancer Omer Bhatti was rumoured to be his son, the result of a one night stand between his mother Pia and the Billie Jean hitmaker in 1984.

Zac Efron and two male friends - including his High School Musical co-star Corbin Bleu - visited Flashdancers Gentlemen's Club on Broadway recently and stayed until 3am.

The Charlie St. Cloud star - who has been dating actress Vanessa Hudgens since 2005 - is said to have requested dances from three pretty brunettes.

"Zac came in Sunday night around midnight with Corbin and one other male friend, who paid for everything. They were seated in the VIP lounge behind the main stage. There was only a rail between them and the girls who were  dancing," a witness at the club told the New York Post newspaper.

"They ordered one bottle of Belvedere vodka and were enthralled with the dancers. They were interacting a lot with the girls and reaching out and showering money on them. There were three girls who Zac and his friends particularly  liked and they asked to do personal dances at their table."

The source continued: "Zac and the boys had a great time and left around 3am."

The next day Zac attended the New York premiere for his new movie Charlie St. Cloud - in which he stars alongside Kim Basinger.

Crowe happy to stay behind the camera

The Robin Hood star - who won the Best Actor Oscar in 2000 for his role as a Roman soldier in Gladiator - will narrate the US$15 million production Ben Hur: The Stadium Spectacular, which tells the story of a galley slave who dared to  defy the Roman Empire.

The Australian actor is thrilled to be a part of the production but insists he is happy to stay behind the scenes.

"I think there comes a time in every gladiator's life when you've got to give the reins over to the next bloke," he said.

"It's a gigantic production. It's so ambitious and I just had to get involved. It's a hoot."

The 46-year-old Hollywood star also revealed what the audience can expect from the action-packed show, which is based on the Charlton Heston movie Ben-Hur.

"It's not a play. It's not a musical. It's a spectacle. And you know you've got your chariot races, you've got a boat being boarded by female pirates, Pontius Pilate making his decision over Christ's future, so it's gigantic, it's amazing."
