Milan join race to net Fabiano
AC MILAN have chosen their next transfer target. According to Sky Sport 24, Milan are now going after Sevilla chief striker Luis Fabiano, who scored five goals at the Confederations Cup for champions Brazil, finishing as top scorer of the tournament held in South Africa.
The chase for the 28- year-old Fabiano means Milan are no longer intererested in signing Holland international striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar from Real Madrid or Edin Dzeko from Wolfsburg.
Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has already contacted Sevilla but an agreement isn’t close yet. His offer was between €16-18 (RM92.4-104) million but the Spanish club don’t want anything less than the player’s buyout clause of €30 million.
It’s well known that, after Kaka’s departure to Real, Milan are looking for a new attacker, while Fabiano himself has already revealed that Milan is a dream club for him recently.
Fabiano has also attracted Premier League champions Manchester United who are desperate to sign quality attackers after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez.
The Red Devlls have already signed up Wigan winger Antonio Valencia for £16 million.
