DAISY AND MANOHARA: Keeping it behind closed doors

DAISY Fajarina, the mother of controversial Indonesian teen model Manohara Odelia Pinot, had repeatedly  asked her stepdaughter to not leak any information regarding her abuse to other family members.

This was disclosed in a series of email, obtained by Malay Mail, sent  by Daisy to her stepdaughter Shaliha,  shortly after the latter had lodged a police report with the French authorities over her rape by her stepfather and Daisy's husband, Frenchman Jurgen Reiner Noack Pinot.

In the first email, dated March 30, 2007, about a month after Shaliha fled the family's home in Cannes, Daisy sent her an email asking her whereabouts and asking her to return.

Daisy had also reminded Shaliha of the latter's promise to look after her when she was ill. (It is understood
that Daisy was undergoing chemotherapy at the time)

"Don't let anything keep us apart. You had promised that if I was ill, you would take care of me. Please forget
everything that has happened," Daisy pleaded.

It is understood that the incident Daisy referred to was when she learnt of the sexual relations between Pinot
and Shaliha. In that incident, Daisy had forced Pinot to caress the girl's body in front of her and in a fit of
rage, untidily cut her hair as punishment.

Pinot has since served four months in a jail in France last year for the sexual assault on Shaliha, who was then
in her 20s and a virgin.

Daisy's next email to Shaliha was on April 17 that year, when Daisy had already arrived in Jakarta.

In that email, the overall tone took on a more sinister turn as she warned Shaliha not to reveal the incident to
the latter's boyfriend, identified only as Jonathan.

"You'd better be careful," Daisy wrote. "Don't you even think of telling your boyfriend for it will have a
‘boomerang effect' for you. If you do tell him, one day he will not appreciate you. "Be careful, don't be easily
swayed."

There were also repeated pleas for Shaliha to call her. Daisy even included the number at the end of the
email, and added that before arriving in Jakarta, she and Manohara were in Singapore for a week as Manohara
was filming a commercial.

The third and final email to Shaliha was dated Sept 20, 2007. In that correspondence, Daisy told her how
she (Daisy) had spoken to relatives in Jakarta and was verbally abused by them. It emerged that Shaliha had
telephoned her relatives and related to them her ordeal at the hands of Daisy and Pinot.

"Please stop, Leha. Don't call our relatives at the kampung and tell them untrue stories. Don't tell them anything! If they call, tell them everything is just fine!" Daisy reminded Shaliha of the ordeal the former had to endure since 2002; referring to her battle with cancer and having to deal with Pinot's extramarital affairs.

She concluded the email by telling Shaliha that Manohara already had a boyfriend, and that he was "a brainy
sort, akin to Einstein." Since the correspondence, Daisy has been sentenced to 18 months' jail in absentia in France for submitting Shaliha to undignified working conditions and assault, dating back to 1998.

Daisy remains a fugitive from France and has been on Interpol's "Red Notice" for the past year. It was also reported that the Indonesian government was considering sending Daisy to France to serve out her sentence.

Daisy had alleged that Manohara was physically and sexually abused for the duration of the latter's marriage
to Tengku Temenggong Kelantan Tengku Muhammad Fakhry Petra.

The allegations have been denied by the prince and to date, Daisy has yet to produce any medical report establishing the assault.

Comments

actually Daisy is Villain and Master for all these Controversial. The Indonesian Government should send her to France for trial. The "Evil" woman always said about 'abuse', 'rape', and anything about tortured to woman to justify her actions. But till now, where is the proof? We all sick of her.
