I was, however, constantly checking out the progress of the Bersih 3.0 sit-in through various social media platforms, including Twitter and Facebook as well as some websites which provided updates from time to time.

IN TRYING to justify sociopolitical acts as well as legislations, nothing is more abused by politicians than Jeremy Bentham’s Principle of Utility (more popularly referred to as the Utilitarian Principle).

THERE are three very unfortunate incidents which took place in Malaysia in the past 10 days. No, I am not talking about cows or politicians.

All of them involved very young children. And all of them involved death. Even a gruesome one!

IN any Westminster-styled democracy, a country’s administration consists of three main machinations –  the Legislative, Executive and the Judiciary. The Legislative makes laws. The Executive runs the country; and the Judiciary adjudicates disputes and determines them.
