KUALA LUMPUR: A fun night for GILBERT CLARENCE turned sour when the movie he was watching on a local satellite television company on TV on Feb 5 at 10.30pm was cut short 30 minutes before its conclusion.

A disappointed CLARENCE called up their customer service and requested an explanation for cutting the programme short.

When he spoke to the attendant on the phone, he was told an inquiry would have to be made to a different department before they could provide an explanation for the problem.

PETALING JAYA: Fans of Whitney Houston went for a “shock shopping spree” when several music stores here and in Kuala Lumpur reported sold-out sales of her various albums not long after news of the American singer’s death broke out yesterday morning.

Said a worker at its outlet at The Curve: “Many people came and asked for Whitney’s albums as early as 10.30am. By midday, we were left with only one copy.”
