KUALA LUMPUR:  Frost & Sullivan expects Malaysia's total industry volume (TiV) to rebound in 2010 with a 4.5 per cent growth to a historic high of 555,000 units due to an improved economic outlook and rising consumer sentiment.

SUBANG JAYA: Ticket bookings for Firefly are expected to be made easier by the first quarter of 2010 as the airline is currently in talks with several telecommunication companies and financial institutions.

If the deals fall through, customers will be able to pay for their flight bookings using their ATM cards, banks and post offices.

Those who do not own credit cards will now be able to purchase their flight tickets online and they can use their ATM cards to pay. They can also bank in or pay at post offices.

KUALA LUMPUR: Tutti Frutti a popular premium soft-serve frozen yoghurt from America signed its first licensee this afternoon.

With a five-year tenure, the licence agreement between Tutti Frutti Trading Sdn Bhd and Platinum Deli Enterprise involves an initial investment of RM265,000.

KUALA LUMPUR: Celcom (M) Bhd today announced its third-quarter financial result which is also the highest ever quarterly profit amounting to RM404 million.

This also represents a double digit quarter-on-quarter growth of 10 per cent. Revenue also grew by four per cent.

Meanwhile, earnings was up by five per cent while growth in momentum based on year-on-year for revenue increased by 12 per cent.

Her sister was attacked  near their house recently and she also suffered minor injuries in the incident.

FARAH feels cheated with the service provided by a workshop near her house in Sungai Buloh. On Nov 6, she sent her car to Bunga Raya Workshop for routine servicing and was advised by the staff there that the two front tyres needed to be changed.

As she doesn’t know much about car maintenance, FARAH decided to follow the advice of the mechanic.

RANJIT, who lives in Jalan Air Sungai, off Air Panas Setapak, is irritated with the faulty lights at a park near his house.

He says that the lights at the playground on Jalan Air Sungai has not been working for the last few months and the darkened spot has allowed many “opportunists” to take advantage of the situation.

“About five months ago, residents lodged complaints with a staff at City Hall, but no action has been taken so
far. Since the playground is not properly lit at night, the place has become a good hideout for those who are
up to no good.”
