Four sought in security guard's murder

SHAH ALAM: Police are looking for four men to facilitate investigations into the murder of a security guard at a TNB sub-station in Section 18, Shah Alam on Feb 1.

Selangor CID chief SAC Mohd Adnan Abdullah said the four men are; M. Baskaran@Baskar, 23 from Padang Jawa, G. James@James, 31 from Taman Danau Kota, Kuala Lumpur, M. Mahendran@Koringgo, 31, and M. Thiyagu@Thiagu, from Shah Alam.

"From our investigations, we believe the motive is revenge," said Mohd Adnan.

He urged the four men to come forward and assist the murder probe.

On Feb 1, a TNB sub-station security guard, I. Krishnamurthy, 31 was slashed to death by 20 men, armed with parangs, at Jalan 18/1.

The men stormed into the sub-station and attacked him. Krishnamurthy died on the spot.

The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
