Magical Christmas experiences at Bangsar Shopping Centre

DECK THE HALLS: Shoppers will be inspired by gift ideas for both children and adults alike

THE Bangsar Shopping Centre (BSC) in Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur is welcoming Christmas with a 12 Magical Christmas Experiences theme, inspired by the Christmas carol The 12 Days of Christmas.

In addition to BSC’s main Christmas Hall on the ground oor, shoppers can visit another 12 zones and be inspired by gift ideas for both children and adults alike.

One such zone is Magic Wishes, where children can post mail to Santa Claus for their wishes to come true. In the Merry Medley zone, there are gift-making workshops on weekends, designed specially for children to create gifts they can bring home.

In the Wrapped in Magic zone, shoppers who spend RM100 and above will receive free gift-wrapping services.

The Hope, Love and Joy charity zone enables shoppers to pledge Gifts of Hope for underprivileged children worldwide, operating every Friday to Sunday.

There are also booths for Home and Decor, fashion and accessories, as well as weekend performances.

Mori Pin are showcasing their trinkets, charm bracelets and elegant drop earrings, while manicure sets and nail lacquers can be found at Lacquer Couture and trendy clothing at Thimble Designs. Young ones can enjoy toys and puppets from Windancer.

Decor items are available from Art & Embroidery, Ambiance and Nan Thong. For scents, Trunk offers books, diary and paper products. Nature Farm features all things healthy and organic, while Florism de Art specialises in intricate decor items and ower arrangements.

Activities are also lined-up every weekend. Special appearances by BSC’s famous Christmas characters will delight the little ones as they hand out gifts to shoppers.

The Selangor Philharmonic Society will perform at BSC on Dec 15 and 16, performing traditional and contemporary Christmas songs including It Came Upon a Midnight Clear and O Holy Night, as well as John Rutter’s arrangement of The 12 Days of Christmas.
