Police intelligence was spot on as one of the outlets yielded four women, all China nationals, in a state of undress.
The 10.30pm raid was led by Inspector Wiryanti Abdul Wahid and five other D7 police officers.
"At the second outlet, we detained nine masseuses — eight from China and one from Vietnam, all aged between 20 and 40 years. Four of them were found naked at the back of the premises," Wiryanti said.
She said that the naked masseuses were believed to be preparing for bodyto-body massage sessions for four clients who were inside the premises at the time.
"They charged RM135 for the 'extra' service and clients were free to select any masseuse."
Wiryanti said that only three of them possessed international passports while the rest only had social visit visas. None of them had valid working permits.
Earlier, the team raided a health care centre in the same area and detained five China nationals, aged between 20 and 42, also for allegedly offering similar massage services.
"A 42-year-old local woman, who is the premise operator, and a 39-year-old customer were also detained in the raid.
"Police found that all the masseuses did not possess any valid working permits," said Wiryanti.
It was the second time the premises had been raided. Police found that it had been operating illegally since 2010.
All detainees were taken to Petaling Jaya district police headquarters.
